

MACPHEE, Roberta Mae On a beautiful summer's day, Tuesday, July 31 2012, Roberta passed away peacefully from her loving family at QEII VG Site in her 66th year. Born in Lantz, Roberta was the daughter of the late Marshall and Dorothy (Blois) Isenor. Most recently from Stewiacke and formerly of Shubenacadie, Roberta worked with Canada Post for 17 years, retiring as Assistant Post Master of the Shubenacadie Post Office. She was a kind, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, an active and devoted community and church member who most enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Roberta had a passion for painting, playing with her grandchildren, watching Dancing with the Stars, her stories, the occasional golf game and spending time on her daughter's family boat. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert; daughter Heather MacPhee-Otto (Phil), Hammonds Plains; son Roger (Stacy) MacPhee, Milford; grandchildren Sarah and Jeremy MacPhee; Riley, Alex, Kristen and Gregory Otto; brothers Grant, Antigonish; Harry (Betty), Lantz; Hank, Elmsdale; Cleve (Linda), Dutch Settlement; David (Bev), Elmsdale; sister Juliette (Dale) Sheffield, Glenmount; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Allie Isenor. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation by request. Family and friends welcome to attend a graveside committal service in Brookside Cemetery, Mill Village on Monday August 6 at 11am. Family flowers only.
