Addie Alline Scott, 88, of Sikeston, died December 11, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born February 8, 1925, in Wardell, to the late Joseph Si and Addie Adeline Clifton Franklin, she had been employed as a secretary for Sells Nursing Home, and was a member of the Canalou Assembly of God Church. On September 6, 1941, in New Madrid, she married James Edward Scott, who preceded her in death on September 13, 1988.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Edward F. and Dorris Scott of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharlyn Dale and Jerry Ruedrich of Sikeston; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and six step grandchildren.
One son, Ruben E. Scott, six brothers, four sisters, and one great grandchild preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 11a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1p.m. on Friday, December 13, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Rev. Steven Cartwright, pastor of the Canalou Assembly of God Church, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
