Albert Allred II

Albert Allen “Al” Allred II, age 46, of Sikeston, died July 5, 2016, at his home. Born June 20, 1970, in Sikeston, to Albert Allen and Betty Cobb Allred, who survive of Lilbourn, he was employed from 1993-2013 by the Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc., in New Madrid, retiring due to an extended illness. Al was a cancer survivor. He was a member of the Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On December 7, 1996, in New Madrid, he married Wendy Diggs, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Paige Allred and Meagan Lynn Allred, both of the home; one sister, Stacy Lynn Allred of Lilbourn; and one nephew and niece, Braedynn Allen Allred and Ramsey Ann Allred Hogan.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert Lee Allred and Edna Odessia Allred, and maternal grandparents Dutch Cobb and Maude Cobb.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of the Murray Lane Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
