

Born January 1, 1933, in Frisco Mo., to the late Cecil and Florence Woods Dovers Payne. She was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. She was a foster mom to many and a selfless servant to all.
On January 10, 1949, in Dexter, she married Johnny Nimmo Sr., who preceded her in death on April 8, 2003.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Marcia Nimmo Jr. of Sikeston, Wayne and Melody Harris of Mayfield Ky.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Connie and Michael Bolen, Sandria Costin, all of Sikeston, Patty and Woody Bolen of Wappapello; One brother, Gene Payne of Goodrich Michigan; five sisters, Deloris Smith of Sikeston, Margaret Miller of Joplin, Joan Woods of Sikeston, Francis Harrison of Joplin, Esther Garner of Phoenix Arizona; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon Payne.
Visitation will be held from 1p.m. until time of service at 4p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jason Redden, pastor of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston, officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Matthew Bolen, Michael Bolen Jr., John Riley, Micah Roach, Hector Esquivel and Blake Hickman.
