Barbara Stinnett

She was born on May 18, 1942, in Sikeston, MO to the late Homer and Lue Vanover Grimes.

On October 22, 1960, in Sikeston, MO she married William Thomas Stinnett who preceded her in death on August 3, 2019.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Jr (Lori) Stinnett of Sikeston, MO and Phillip Stinnett of Sikeston, MO; three sisters, Judy Mackey of Fayetteville, AR, Debbie Martin of Nixa, MO and Mary Lou Welter of Blodgett, MO; two grandchildren, Hannah (Hunt) Stinnett Hearin and Zac Stinnett.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with John Newman, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Armor Cemetery in Bertrand, MO.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Bobby Stinnett, Chris Stinnett, Jeff Welter, John Welter, Mark Grimes and Kyle Welter.
