Betty Jones

Born February 4, 1931, in Sikeston, MO., to the late John Thomas and Esther Dixon Griffin.

On March 28, 1947 in Sikeston, MO., she married Russell Harding Jones who preceded her in death on March 18, 1968.

Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Patti Jones of Cape Girardeau, MO., Milford Jones of Sikeston, MO., and Mark and Patty Jones of Sikeston, MO.; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd Griffin, James Griffin and John Griffin; three sisters, Louise Curry, Virginia Dollar and Irene Nelson.

Visitation will be Friday February 9, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with Pat Hogan , pastor of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, MO., officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
