

Beulah Virginia Osburn, 97, of Sikeston, died March 10, 2012 at the Miner Nursing Center. Born October 3, 1914, in McMullin, MO, to the late Jason Henry and Janetta Lee Knight Unsell, she worked for the Foster Grandparent Program for twenty years, and also had been employed by the New Dawn State School in Sikeston for many years. She was a member of the Church of God in Vanduser. On December 7, 1936, in Vanduser, she married George Granville Osburn, who preceded her in death in August of 1976.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jason Osburn, two brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and David Lee Evans of Sikeston and Jane and Kenneth Campbell of Hardin, KY; three grandchildren, Sonya Worthington of Sikeston, David Evans of Sikeston and Kent Campbell of Murray, KY.
Also surviving are nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm this evening at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, March 13, 2012 with the Rev. Curtis True, pastor of Church on the Rock of Morehouse, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Nelson, James Ringwald, Sam Worthington, David Hammon, Kent Campbell and David Evans. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Newkirk.
