Beulah Parker

March 2, 1936October 9, 2019

Sikeston – Beulah Mae Parker, age 83, passed away on October 9, 2019, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. Born March 2, 1936 in Johnson County, AR., to the late Gabe and Jewel Willis Shipp. She married Junior Ray Parker on July 1, 2000, who preceded her in death on July 23, 2018. She worked as a nurse at MODELTA Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. for 17 years. She also was a volunteer with the SEMO Foster Grandparent program in Sikeston Public Schools for the past 17 years. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Morehouse, enjoyed reading and talking about the Bible. Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy and Mike Ogden of Kingman, KS., and Debbie Russell of Kingman, KS.; three sisters, Jewel Dean Wall of Alma, AR., Patty Medlock of Mulberry, AR., and Etta Lou Hughes of Morehouse, MO.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Junior Butler and Michael Allen Cooper. Visitation will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO., with Rev. James Vent, officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

What a wonderful aunt to our family. I remember her sitting in our yard with her accordian and our dad with his guitar singing songs "remind me " and other hymns and older songs that I still sing.. What a blessing she has been to all who knew her. She is with Jesus . I love you Aunt Beulah
