Bill Bye

He was born on November 19,1949, in Sikeston, MO to the late Jack and Myrtle Marie Jackson.

On June 25, 1972, in Sikeston he married Teresa Skinner who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.

He was a member and deacon of Miner Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO for over 44 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Wesley (Christy) Bye of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Bob (Ann) Bye of Bloomfield, MO; two grandchildren, Jackson Bye and Jillyan Bye; and brother-in-law Scott (Merri) Skinner of New Iberia, LA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Albert L. Skinner; mother-in-law; Betty Jane Skinner Evans; step father-in-law, Charles Evans and brother-in-law, Greg Skinner.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Miner Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO where funeral service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Bro Steve Francis, Pastor at Miner Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Bye, Ronnie Wallace, Johnny Martin, Cole Lawrence, Silas Amelung, and Gavin Davidson.
