

She was born on December 28, 1935 in Tyronza, Arkansas, daughter of the late Burnice and Anne (Bowling) Sims.
On October 4, 1953 she married Charles Floyd Collom who preceded her in death on February 26, 2010.
Other survivors include three sons and three daughters-in-law, Gil (Christina) Collom of Yuma, Arizona, Chuck (Vicki) Collom, of Mill Spring, Missouri and Glenn (Ellie) Collom of Benton, Missouri; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy (Paul) St. Onge of S. Fulton, Tennessee; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anne (Rick) Robinson, Patsy (Jimmy) Bevill and Dale Monnard; six grandchildren, Kristie (Dusty) Freeman of Herculaneum, Missouri, Amber Anyanwu (David) of Waldorf, Maryland, Chase Collom – United States Air Force Tech Sargeant stationed at Duke Field, Florida, Benjamin St. Onge of South Fulton, Tennessee, Victoria Collom of Columbia, Missouri and River Collom of Benton, Missouri; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one grandson, Levi Collom.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with David Orr, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO, officiating.
Private family interment will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley, MO.
Pallbearers will be Ben St. Onge, Nole Freeman, Jeff Kelley, Dustin Kelley, Lydia Hodgkiss and Victoria Collom.
