Carlene Johnson

She was born on August 5, 1960, in Dexter, MO to the late Robert and Evelyn Campbell Landers.

On March 17, 1979, in Canalou, MO. she married Robert “Kenny” McKinley Johnson III who preceded her in death on February 14, 2022.

She is survived by one son, Kenny Johnson of Matthews, MO; six brothers, Howard Landers of Morehouse, MO, Kenneth (Tammy) Landers of Morley, MO, Jerry (Barabara) Landers of Matthews, MO, Billy (Carol) Landers of Wappapello, MO, Bobby (Barbara) Landers of Canalou, MO and Gary Landers od Sikeston, MO and three sisters, Ellen Davis of Sikeston, MO, Linda Buck of Sikeston, MO and Debbie Parker of Mississippi.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters, Charlene Hughs, Kathy Stinnett and Sandra Campbell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO at 10:00 a.m. until time funeral service at12:00 noon with Bro. Dewayne Coleman, officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Johnson, Mike Savat, Eric Vines, Sam Curtis, Jerry Landers and Patrick Day.
