

He was born on September 3, 1942 in Alton, IL. to the late Charles and Maxine Kite Stalker. He graduated from Alton High School and Ranken Trade School. On March 6, 1964 in Alton, IL., he married Jeanne Swinney Stalker.
Charles spent his life working in sales and drafting for Steward Steel, Steelcraft, and retired from Fleming Steel in 2005. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sikeston, the Sikeston Kiwanis Club and Fox Haven Country Club. He was an accomplished golfer and an avid painter.
Surviving of the home is his wife, Jeanne Stalker. Other survivors include two daughters, Amy (Mike) Vaughn of Sikeston, MO., and Sheri (Tommy) Jackson of Sikeston, MO.; five grandchildren, David (Audra) Stalker, Dakota Woods, Catherine Jackson, Caroline Jackson, and Benjamin (Cassie Hakken) Jackson; a great-grandchild, Hank Allen Stalker; his “fur” babies, Sadie and Bonnie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO. Matthew Vroman, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, MO.
Pallbearers will be Jim Swinney, Steve Lamken, Jeff Ebbeler, Mike Vaughan, Tommy Jackson, Benjamin Jackson and Dakota Woods.
