Darlene Thomason Scott

Nina Darlene Scott, 73, of Sikeston, died May 27, 2011 at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, MO. Born December 11, 1937 in Harrell, AR, to the late Curtis and Dorothy Williams Thomason, she was a homemaker and member of the Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston. On November 27, 1954, in Matthews, she married C.G. Scott, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Tina Scott of Sikeston; one daughter, Darla Scott of Jackson; and three grandchildren, Drew Roberts of San Angelo, TX, and Jerod Scott and Taylor Scott, both of Sikeston.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 2:00pm on Sunday, with Rev. Larry Smith, retired pastor of the Tanner Street Church of God, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. Pallbearers will be: Drew Roberts, Jerod Scott, Taylor Scott, Kevin Heuiser, Mike Richards and Dwight Vaughn.
