David Schneider

He was born on November 18, 1947, in Jefferson City, MO to the late Joseph and Mary Stroud Schneider.

On July 12, 1968, in Sikeston, MO he married Virginia McCoy Schneider who survives at the home in Matthews, MO.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO. He graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in engineering in 1972. He retired from Noranda Aluminum Company in 2016 after thirty-five years of service.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Joseph (Tammy) Schneider of East Prairie, MO; one daughter, Christina (Carlos) Holcomb of Sparta, WI and two grandchildren, Zachary Holcomb and Savannah Holcomb both of Sparta, WI.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO. with Father Colby Elbert, officiating.

Interment will follow in Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, MO.
