He was born on January 14, 1935, in Canalou, MO to the late Leslie Roy and Lola Mae Bryant Durbin.
He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by one son, Kirk Durbin of Huntsville, AL; one daughter Kelly Durbin of Key West, FL; three brothers, Thomas Durbin, Alan Durbin, and Kirk Durbin of Piedmont, MO; two sisters, Lestene Rigdon of Piedmont, MO and Linda Leavitt of The Villages, FL; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Myrick Durbin and one sister, Delia Scott.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO with full military honors.
