He was born on September 24, 1951, in Sikeston, MO to the late Kenneth Allen Grimes and Lova Simmons Dixon.
On November 4, 2000, in Matthews, MO he married Billie Warth Grimes who survives of the home in Matthews, MO.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Lindsey Grimes of Matthews, MO and one sister, Connie Grimes of Sikeston, MO.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
