Emogean Mays

She was born on June 12, 1926 in Sandy Ridge, AR. to the late Floyd and Eva Pivas Bell.

On November 3, 1947 in Marston, MO. she married Dick Mays who preceded her in death on April 12, 2003.

Emogean was a member at Miner Baptist Church in Miner, MO.

She is survived by two sons, Nathan Mays of Sikeston, MO. and Ronald (Donna) McDaniel of Sikeston, MO.; two daughters, Carlois (Dewey) Holmes of Bloomfield, MO. and Marcia (Mark) Woollums of Dexter, MO.; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, one son and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. where funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Jim Matthews, officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Tim Comstock, Butch Gamache, Eric Talley, Tony Beeson, Trent Beeson and Wayne Holmes.
