Matthews-William Franklin Evans, 61, died March 21, 2013, at his home. He was born July 31, 1951, in Granite City, Ill., to the late William and Imogene Barnes Evans. On July 6, 1973, in Sikeston, he married Barbara Alford, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Melinda Harris of Belleville, Ill.; one brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Sharon Jones of Granite City; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Randy Kotechek of St. Louis; and one grandchild.
