

Gary Ray Kimball, age 61, of Oran, died July 7, 2016, at his home. Born October 5, 1954, in New Madrid, to the late Billy Ray and Vunda Sue Knight Kimball, he was a painter for over 45 years, and was self-employed as the owner of Gary Kimball Painting. A veteran of the United States Army, he was a member of the Sikeston American Legion Post 0114 and Sikeston Eagles Aerie Post 3319. On December 6, 1970, in New Madrid, he married Carol Williams, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Gary Ray and Danielle Kimball, Jr. of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Susan Wilkerson of Sikeston; four brothers, Jimmy Kimball of New Madrid, and David Kimball, Billy Kimball and Carl Kimball, all of Lilbourn; and two sisters, Patty Norman of Portageville and Robin Phillips of Marston. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Dillon Kimball, Rebecca Norton, Lanie Wilkerson, Hayden Kimball and Lauren Kimball; and one great grandchild, Dallas Naucke.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12 noon on Monday, July 11, 2016, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Nick Simmons,
pastor of the Chapel by the Lake Church, officiating.
Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with full military honors provided by the Missouri Funeral Honor Guard Unit.
Pallbearers will be B.J. Phillips, Dillon Kimball, Keith Kimball, C.J. Kimball, Gary Phillips, Jr. and Jake Kimball.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Kimball, Hayden Kimball, Jordan Kimball and Ross Baker.
