He was born on April 5, 1947, in Morehouse, MO to the late James N. and Lillie Ivy Hargrove.
On May 26, 1979, he married Robin (Roberts) Hargrove who survives of the home in Morehouse, MO.
He served in the Army National Guard.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Grant (Katie Paschedag) Hargrove of Mascoutah, IL; one brother, Lonnie (Ruth) Hargrove of Wappapello, MO and three grandchildren, Maridia Hargrove, Carter Paschedag and Abby Paschedag.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Carrol “Pug” Hargrove and Wilber Hargrove and four sisters, Mary Bohannon, Ruth Schwab, Betty Cagle and Erma Michaels.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. with Pete Leija, officiating.
