

She was born on May 16, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, the eldest of three children to the late Fred Lee and Mary Gaines Vandever.
She retired from Walmart after over 20 years of dedicated service.
In retirement, Gina found simple joys in the company of loved ones. She treasured quiet evenings spent listening to her favorite oldies music or watching her favorite shows, but her greatest love was undoubtedly the St. Louis Cardinals. A devoted fan, her enthusiasm was contagious.
She is survived by two daughters, Angie Roberts of Belle View, MO and Cindy (Rob) Bailey of Matthews, MO, one brother, Reggi (Joyce Elaine) Vandever of Matthews, MO; one sister Lyla Shary (Phillip) Deuster of Sikeston, MO; five grandchildren, Andrew (Mary) Harbison, Tyler (Kinleigh) Gentles, Meghan (Levi) Moore, Breanna Bailey and Eli Cain and eight great-grandchildren, Braden Harbison, Tayton Gentles, Ethan Harbison, Maci Gentles, Payson Moore, Theo Gentles, Isaiah Moore and Miah Bailey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Michelle Roberts and one grandson, Hunter Joseph Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Danny Kuykendall, officiating.
The family invites all attendees to Gina's celebration of life to wear their favorite St. Louis Cardinals attire.
Burial will follow in the Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, MO.
Pallbearers will be Rob Bailey, Anthony Deuster, Drew Harbison, Zach Vandever, Jake Vandever, Tyler Gentles,Tayton Gentles, Levi Moore, Eli Cain, Braden Harbison, and Ethan Harbison.
