He was born July 27, 1929 in Lamar, AR., to the late Pink and Clara Grace Holman.
On July 2, 1949 in Piggott, AR., he married Golda Noyes Holman, who preceded him in death on February 27, 2015.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Peggy Holman of Miner, MO.; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Lawana Decker of Cape Girardeau, MO., Carole and Thomas Thurman of Blodgett, MO., Teresa and Steve Kimbro of Sikeston, MO., Shelia Burnett of Sikeston, MO., Barbara Eskew of Sikeston, MO., and Alicia and Keith Courtney of Olive Branch, MS.; one sister, Pauline Reynolds of St. Charles, MO.; 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, James Holman; three brothers, Lawrence Holman, Gene Holman and Pink Holman Jr.;one sister, Irma Lee Holman; and a special friend Wanda Hilliard.
Visitation will be Thursday February 27, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Rev. Randy Eskew, pastor of New Beginnings Church in East Prairie, MO. , officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
