

He was born on January 9, 1936, in Dogwood, MO to the late John C and Beulah Wilburn Parker.
On August 15, 1955, in Mississippi, he married Beverly Phillips Parker who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.
Wade started farming with his dad in the early 1960’s. By the late 1960’s, Wade was farming with his twin brother, Wayne.
They farmed together until 2020, when they both retired, at the age of 84. Along with their farming operation in Southeast Missouri, they custom harvested cotton in South Texas for 34 years. After being introduced to the cotton module builder in Texas, they were the first in the area to use it in their cotton harvest back home.
When Wade wasn’t farming, he was an avid NASCAR fan, traveling to many races over the years.
Wade loved farming and shared that passion with his family as his sons & grandson followed in his footsteps.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Ricky (Cheryl) Parker of Sikeston, MO and Steve Parker of Sikeston, MO; three grandchildren, Nicole Hunter, Chad Parker and Ryan Parker and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny Joe Parker, Wayne Parker, and Arlan Parker and one sister, Shirley Kelso.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Bro. Ed Stephenson, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Hunter, Parker Hunter, Chad Parker, Colt Parker, Ryan Parker and Eli Parker.
