Helen Sue Angle 74, of Miner, died August 6, 2011 at the Miner Nursing Center. She was born August 30, 1936 in Benton, MO to the late Ora Hilton and Flossie Davis Clinton. She had been a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Crossroads of Hope Community Church in Sikeston and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Morley Missouri Chapter. On August 27, 1954 she married Dorma “Sonny” Gene Angle who preceded her in death on May 4, 2010. Also preceding her in death are one son, Mike Angle, one brother, Troy Clinton and one sister Carrie Mae Smith.
She is survived by one grandson, Matthew Angle of Sikeston; two sisters, Lavern Burton and Sandy Groves both of Sikeston; two brothers in law and their wives, Wayne and Wanda Angle of Sikeston and Larry and Lillian Angle of Scott City; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am on August 9, 2011 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel until the time of funeral service at 10:30am with the Rev Rick Ramsey pastor of the Crossroads of Hope Community Church in Sikeston officiating. Pallbearers will be Darrell Lynn Porter, Clay Porter, Jim Roth, Wayne Angle, Larry Angle and Anthony Angle. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Hanselman, Ron Porter, Darrell Porter, Joe Burton and Ronnie Burton. Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
