He was born on May 27, 1947, in Sikeston, MO to the late Frankie and Elizabeth Parr Heckert.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Huber of Valparaiso, Indiana, one brother Joey (Amy) Heckert of Sikeston, MO, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jill Heckert.
