Jackie Orr Sailors

Wanda Jacqueline “Jackie” Sailors, 88, of Sikeston, died June 13, 2011 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born February 28, 1923 in Poplar Bluff, to the late Willie Earl and Pauline Henley Orr, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On July 27, 1940, in Charleston, she married William Seldon Sailors, who preceded her in death on December 29, 1979.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Orr and Bob Orr; and one sister, Betty Emmons.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jim Meadows of Sikeston; and two brothers, Danny Limbaugh of Sikeston and James Howard Limbaugh of Spring, TX. Also surviving are one grandson and his wife, Anthony and Robin Meadows of Sikeston; and two great grandchildren, Kaden and Kolby Meadows, both of Sikeston.

Visitation will begin at 9:30am until time of funeral services at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 16, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. David Ross, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Sikeston, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
