Born March 31, 1924, at Township of Como, New Madrid County, Missouri, daughter of Ember Ellis and Chloe Ross Ellis.
Over the years, she worked for Anchor Toy, Hallmark and LaPetite Children Boutique.
She also volunteered as a “Pink Lady” at Missouri Delta Medical for 25 years and was active at the Community Baptist Church.
On July 30, 1941 at Malden, she married Lester Beaird , who passed away July 31, 1997, after 56 years of marriage.
She is survived by sons and daughters in law, Dale and Janie Beaird, of Germantown, TN, Harold and Rebecca Beaird of Sikeston, MO. and Caroll and Wilda Beaird, of Sikeston, MO. One daughter and son in law, Sharon and James Jones.
10 Grandchildren: Brian Beaird, Todd Beaird, Marissa Beaird, Scott Beaird, Eric Beaird, Kesley Fortner, Brandan Beaird, David Beaird, Blake Jones and Jacob Jones.
14 Great Grandchildren: Hunter Beaird, Mackenzie Beaird, Libby Kate Waters, Mamie Waters, Phinn Waters, Tori Beaird, Issac Beaird, Carson Beaird, Jace Beaird, Alison Holdman, Madeline Beaird, Eli Jones, Ava Jones and Claudia Santos.
Also survived by one sister Bonnie Pyle, sister in law Jo Golden and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. And two special Granddaughters, Leigh and Sabrina, who were a tremendous help these last few days.
Two sisters, Four Brothers and two Great Grandchildren preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Nephew Rev. Richard Long of Johnson City, TN and Rev. Glen Cantrell of Community Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO.
Interment will be in Garden of Memories in Sikeston, MO.
Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
