Born August 18, 1930, in Lawrenceburg, TN., daughter of the late Lindsey H. and Rachel Loduska Nolley.
On December 14, 1948, she married James A. Brotherton, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: her four children, Sue Johnson of Lilbourn; Lynn (Lori) Brotherton of New Madrid; Debbie (Roger) Nowell of New Madrid; Anne (Scott) Duplantis of Augusta, GA.; six grandchildren: Michael Johnson, Ben Brotherton, Jeremy Glenn, Andy Glenn, Jenni Duckworth, Katie Duplantis; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Nolley.
Jimmie was a member of the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church. When she was young, she played the piano and enjoyed sewing and gardening. In her later years she loved to read.
A private family service is scheduled for October 28, 2020, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO., with Rev. Dan Wisely of Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Johnson, Ben Brotherton, Jeremy Glenn, Andy Glenn, Joey Duckworth, and Scott Duplantis.
