Johnnie Hawkins

Johnnie Loyal Dale Hawkins, 86, of Pflugeville, Texas, formerly of Sikeston, died July 18, 2015, at the Heatherwilde Nursing Center in Pflugerville. Born October 4, 1928, in Ola, Arkansas, to the late William and Thelma Rushing Dale, she had been employed by Olan Mills.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tom and Rhonda Hawkins III of Round Rock, Texas and John Hawkins of Pflugeville, Texas; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Charlotte Hawkins of Kyle, Texas, Sandi and Dennis Morgan of Austin, Texas, Debbie and Chuck Fromme of Elgin, Texas, Pamela and Melvin Moss of Pflugeville, Texas and Jan and Mark Redman of Austin, Texas; one brother, Bill Reese Dale of New Jersey; one sister, Linda Parker of Bloomfield, Missouri; and a son-in-law, Mike Garner. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Garner; two brothers, Doyle "Bud" Sutton and Robert Sutton; and two sisters, Lola Giles and Sue Razer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Jerry Adams, pastor of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Redman, Mike Garner, Cody Morgan, Denny Morgan, Bud Hawkins and Stephen Garner. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Yantis.
