Johnny Dewayne Flanigan, 67, of Sikeston, died January 21, 2014, at the Heritage Gardens of Sikeston. Born November 26, 1946, in Sikeston, to Pearlie Mae Brown Watson of Sikeston and the late Waddell Watson, he served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of both the Eagles and American Legion, and had been employed by Richie Pest Control. He was married to Edie Flanigan, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Jerry Dee Flanigan of Qulin and Timmy Flanigan, address unknown; three daughters, Cheryl Flanigan of Qulin, Donna King of Malden, and J.D. Flanigan of the state of Illinois; one stepdaughter, Terry Brunzel of Essex; two brothers, Roger Dale Flanigan Sr. and Cliff Watson, both of Morehouse; four sisters, Floretta Smith of Leitchfield, Ky., Judy Reichuber of Learned, Kans., Louisa Bliss of Doniphan and Debbie Green of Sikeston; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Danny Flanigan and Johnny Flanigan; and one brother, Johnny Watson.
