He was born on January 5, 1963, in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Paul and Violet Bell Markland.
He is survived by two brothers, Paul Markland Jr of Sikeston, MO and Greg Markland of Wilmington, Delaware; three sisters, Dellia Arnold of Wilmington, Delaware, Dovie McDow of South Carolina and Irene Rees of West Virginia.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Markland and two sisters, Gail Thompson and Betty Markland.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel followed by a Graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, MO.
