She was born on July 16, 1939 in Rock Island, IL.to the late Sherman and Nell Cook Rettig.
She married Orlin Roy Feagan on August 5, 1995, who preceded her in death.
Jolene was a member of the Sikeston American Legion Post # 114, and the Sikeston Eagles Aerie # 3319. She was also a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Lana McAnulty of Sikeston, MO.; three step-daughters, Margie Smith of Jackson, MO., Belinda (Raymond) McAnally of Bloomfield, MO. and Renay (Kenny) Statler of Bloomfield, MO.; two sisters, Brenda (Tom) Kearns of Bonne Terre, MO. and Carol Carl of Overland Park, KS.; three grandchildren, Michelle Alley of Dexter, MO., Ashley (Justin) Simmons of Jackson, MO. and Christopher Alley of Jackson, MO.; seven step-grandchildren, David McAnally of Bloomfield, MO., LeAnn Haynes of Sikeston, MO., Rachel McAnally of Dexter, MO., Gracie Statler of Bloomfield, MO., Kenneth (April) Smith of Findlay, OH., Tyler (Caitlyn) Smith of Jackson, MO. and Tommie (Jeannie) Smith of Fruitland, MO ; four great-grandchildren; thirteen step-great grandchildren, and five step-great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Alexander Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Mitch Jackson, Pastor of Miner Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
