Joy Bond

Born April 17, 1948, in San Francisco, CA. to the late William and Beverly Danley Wall. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO., where she had served as president for four years of the Legion of Mary Society and was an active member, she had been a teacher of P.S.R. for St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church as well as a teacher's aide for several years at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School.

On April 8, 1967, in Seattle, WA., she married Danny Lee Bond, who preceded her in death on November 28, 1998.

Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Danny and Kristi Bond of Sikeston, MO., and Sean Wall of Springfield, MO.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanna and Roger Johnson of Sikeston, MO.; six brothers, three sisters, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Bond, one daughter, Michelle McMackin, one grandson, Joseph Scott and one sister, Colleen Morris.

A Rosary service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO., Father Alexander, officiating. Services are under the direction of Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
