Katrina Jay Chambliss, 32, of Grand Bay, Ala., formerly of Malden, died January 6, 2014, at her home. Born November 13, 1981, in Sikeston, to the late Jay and Cathy Atchley Chambliss, she was employed as a nurse for Gordon Oaks Nursing Home in Grand Bay.
Survivors include: one daughter, Addilyn Jayci George of Grand Bay; one brother, Jody Chambliss of Portageville; two nephews, Logan Chambliss and Warren Chambliss, both of Portageville; her partner, Emily Vice of Grand Bay; and their son, Colton Malone of Grand Bay.
Visitation will be Friday, January 10, from 5-8 p.m. at the New Life Ministries Church in New Madrid, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 11, with her uncle, Charles Atchley, officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Howard, Chance Howard, Logan Chambliss, Warren Chambliss, Jeremy Atchley and Colton Malone.
Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
