She was born August 6, 1957, in Flint Mich., to the late Henry Young & the late Patricia DeJournett-Young-Shaw.
Survivors include: two children, Tonya Kelly of Canalou and Robert Kelly II & his wife Jenny of Burton, Mich.; six grandchildren, Brett Blasingain, Kennedy Kelly, Chase Blasingain, Madilyn Kelly, Dalton Blasingain and Quinn Kelly; siblings Gary Young of Ellington, Robin Combs of Matthews, Crystal Bouchard of Burton, Mich. and Penny Peel of Vernon, Mich.; and many loving cousins.
Kim had phenomenal creative ability; she loved helping anyone in need in any way she could, no matter the cost to herself, especially her family. Her life was the children, she was so proud of them and spent as much time with them as possible. Her door was always open to those many lives she touched. She loved for family and friends to gather together, as she cooked amazing feasts and always made sure to have favorite foods of her loved ones. We will forever miss this amazingly creative, diverse, loving gift God gave us to love and be loved by.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
