May the joy of life everlasting in God's presence be Laura Ann's reward. Laura Ann was not only my first cousin but a very dear friend. And although years and miles have kept us apart, she and Roger always welcomed me and my husband or other family members with open arms when we stopped in for a visit.
Lord, be with us and with Laura Ann's family. We lift up the cup of sorrow, confident that you will change our mourning to rejoicing.

I just heard from Rob MItchell about Laura's passing. I wanted to send my condolences, but also my admiration for your 63 years together. For some reason it never occurred to me that when I first knew you in 1962, you'd only been married for a few short years.
I hope my wife and I have as much time together as you did with Laura. Astonishingly, we have only a decade to go!
You are always in my thoughts, but more so now.
