

Lavada Wave Moore, 69, of Oran, died February 11, 2013, at her daughter’s home. Born November 26, 1943, in Shannon County, Mo., to the late Clarence Everett and Wilma Naomi Baker Smith, she was a homemaker and member of the Bell City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She earned her GED in 1983, qualifying for a scholarship. On March 9, 1968, in St. Louis, she married Jackie N. Moore, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Dale and Geri Sinuard of Morley; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Michelle and Jerry Lewis of Morley; and one brother, Ernest L. Smith of Diggins. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Destiny and Brandon Bell of Cape Girardeau, Jacque and Anthony Bryant of Charleston, Erin Renee Sinuard and Courtney Jane Sinuard, both of Cape Girardeau, and Elyce Dawn Cagle and Gabrielle Alyce Cagle, both of Morley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, from 5pm until time of memorial services at 6pm at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
