Leonard "Keith" Skelton

Keith was born February 25, 1963 to the late Jack and Loretta Welch Skelton in Sikeston. He was a 1981 graduate of Sikeston High School. He worked at Alan Wire in Sikeston for 10 years before going to work for the United States Postal Service. After retiring from the USPS in 2018 he spent his time tinkering with his Ford Mustangs and spoiling his cats.

Keith is survived by a daughter, Kasey (Tom) Skelton-Eiceman, of St. Louis, Missouri; a brother, Jeff (Kathy) Skelton, of Sikeston; a brother-in-law, Jeff Placek, also of Sikeston; and three nieces, Halie and Hanna Placek and Elizabeth Phelps.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Kathy Skelton and Karyn Placek; and a nephew, Tray Phelps.

Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 17th at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 17th at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chad Bles officiating. Cremation will follow.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the ASPCA.
