Marilyn Jo Evans

Marilyn Jo Evans, 71, of Sikeston, Mo., died March 3, 2014, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born March 18, 1942, in Sikeston, MO., to the late Carl and Mildred Shuffit Vincent. She owned and operated Marilyn J. Evans Book Keeping Services for over 40 years. On December 18, 1962 in Sikeston she married Richard Evans Sr. who preceded her in death April 10, 2012.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Renea and Chris Medling of St. Charles, MO.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Terri Bechel of Sikeston, MO and Richard Evans Jr of Sikeston, MO.; two sisters, Lois Boley of Puxico, MO and Alvena Vincent of St. Louis, MO.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Bonnie Vincent of Sikeston, MO and Thomas and Patricia Vincent of Alaska.; four grandchildren.; Shelley Bechel, T.J. Bechel, Jacob Medling, and Katherine Medling.; and one great grandchild Seth Meeks.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Hedeen.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. March 6, 2014 at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo.
