She was born January 29, 1935 in Benton, MO., to the late Charles R. and Adelia Bollinger.
On June 22, 1957, she married Emil “Tony” LeGrand in Benton, MO. and celebrated 60 years of marriage the day before he died on June 23, 2017.
She attended St. Denis Church and grade school through the 8th grade. She then went to Benton High School and graduated from 12th grade in May of 1953.
In June of 1953 she was employed by Roy Hough, an attorney in Sikeston, MO. until his death in August of 1979. In January of 1980, she was employed by Fielding Potashnick Law office until his retirement in February of 2003. In February of 2003 the Law Firm of Ottinger, Lawrence and Pearson employed her until her retirement in April of 2009.
She enjoyed volunteering at her church, going to the YMCA for classes and spending time with her children and family.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda K. Cossiboom; two granddaughters, Ashley and Morgan Cossiboom and one great granddaughter, Isabella Miranda Levers all of Nashville, TN.; one son, Christopher S. LeGrand of Sikeston, MO.; one sister, Jane Burden of Sikeston, MO.; one special sister-in-law, Mildred LeGrand of Benton, MO. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and two sons, Michael and Bradley LeGrand.
Visitation will be held Friday September 25, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. A Funeral Mass will be held immediately following the visitation at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO. with Father David Dohogne, officiating.
Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. at 2:00 p.m.
