

He was born on December 1, 1948, to Harold and Jean Stanley, who preceded him in death.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Virginia “Jenny” Stanley; his sister, Janice Grandel (Lee) of Henderson, Kentucky; and his children: Jennifer Skaggs (Scott) of Henderson, Kentucky; Jermey Stanley (Nikki) of Southaven, Mississippi; and Terry Clark (Renee) of Sikeston, Missouri. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren ,5 great-grandchildren and 2 upcoming great grandsons who will cherish his memory.
Glenn dedicated over 40 years of his life as a truck driver with the
handle "Problem Child", earning recognition for an incredible milestone of One Million Mile Safe Driving Award —a testament to his hard work, dedication, and skill. Outside of work, he found joy in horses, horse racing, and watching Western movies.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness.
Graveside services will be held at Essex Cemetery on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
