Michael Edward Legrand

Michael Edward LeGrand, 49, of Rockwall, TX, formerly of Sikeston, died July 19, 2011 at the Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, TX. Born February 1, 1962 in Sikeston, to Emil “Tony” and Mary Frances Bollinger LeGrand, who survive of Sikeston, he was of the Catholic faith. He was employed by Lowes as a stock clerk, and was also a musician. He was a bass guitarist and sound technician for several bands in the Dallas area.

Besides his parents, other survivors include: one brother, Christopher LeGrand of Evanston, IL; one sister, Linda Cossiboom of Nashville, TN; and two nieces, Ashley Cossiboom and Morgan Cossiboom, both of Nashville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bradley LeGrand.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday in the Nunnelee Chapel, with the Rev. Glenn Eftink, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Sikeston, officiating.

Cremation will follow, with disposition of cremains to occur at a later date.
