Mildred Worthington Burnett

She was born January 20, 1938 in Washington, D.C. to the late Herbert and Frances Spicer Ferris.

On November 17, 1955 in Rossville, GA. she married Rev. James F. Worthington who preceded her in death on February 1, 2007, she later married Rev. Henry C. Burnett who preceded her in death.

She was a member of Compassion Church in Sikeston, MO.

Survivors include two sons, Frank (Alisa) Worthington of Sikeston, MO. and David (Sonya) Worthington of Sikeston, MO.; one brother John Ferris of Myrtle Beach, SC.; One sister, Sandra Ward of College Park, MD.; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Worthington and two brothers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Compassion Church in Sikeston, MO. Rev. Frank Worthington pastor at Compassion Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Matt Sautter, Jeremiah Wade, Corey Norris, Sam Worthington, Mike Brandon and Alan Lancaster.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Wade and Liam Sautter.
