Peggy Joan Price

Peggy Joan Price, 78, of Sikeston, died December 5, 2015, at her home. Born October 5, 1937, in Oxlley, Mo., to the late Bascomb and Tabitha Robb Cates, she was a homemaker and member of the Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston. On March 17, 1956, in Hernando, Miss., she married Clifford Price, who survives of the home.

Also surviving is one son, Michael Price of Sikeston; and special friends Janet Moore, Kelly Baker, and Charles and Bonnie Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Brian Scott Price, who died May 11, 1991 and one brother, Kenneth Cates.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Larry Smith of East Prairie, former pastor of the Tanner Street Church of God, officiating.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Steve Torbet, Scott Perry, Steve Duke, Hubert Allred, Mike Myers and Freddie Barber. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Underwood, Mike Perry, Steve Barber and Jim Hunott.
