
Born February 29, 1920, in Gun Town Ms., to the late William and Essie Branyan Dugger. He attended Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston. He retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
On May 26, 1945, in Raymondville Texas, he married Marie Arnold, who preceded him in death on May 2, 1985. On September 30, 1994, he married Lillian LaFontain, who survives of the home.
Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Betty Jo and Floyd Pierce of Humble Texas, and Rita Breaux of Shreveport La.; one step son, Don and Brenda King of Sikeston; one step daughter, Darlene Light of Springfield Mo.; one sister, Levern Barnes of Des Arc Arkansas; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held from 10a.m. until time of service at 12p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Thompson of Morley Baptist Church in Morley Mo., officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Point Cemetery in Osceola Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Paul Dugger, Charles Dugger, Donald Dugger, Wayne Dugger, Rusty Pierce and Joey Clark; Honorary pallbearers will be, Darrell Dugger and John Earl Dugger.
