Robert Leigh Henley

Born August 11, 1940 in Sikeston, Mo. to the late William Robert and Ira Dorene Leigh Henley.

Robert was a member of First Baptist Church of Sikeston, MO. He worked at Bridger Construction Co. as a bookkeeper before retiring from Montgomery Bank as a courier. He was Sikeston Jaycee Man of the Year, 1972-73; he also received the Art Saunders Founder Award in 1993.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Mary Evelyn Lott of Bennettsville, SC.; nephew, Eddie (Teresa) Lott of Florence, SC.; niece, Marilyn Sue (Neal) Wallace of Bennettsville, SC.; two great nephews; two great-great nephews and numerous cousins and other family members from the area.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO., Matthew Vroman, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Sikeston, MO., officiating.
