Robert Murdock

He was born on April 30, 1951, in Sikeston, MO to the late Otha and Freda Templeton Murdock.

On April 14, 1973, in Sikeston he married Linda Jane Chaney Murdock who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.

He worked for Malone and Hyde for 25 years and worked at Sikeston Concrete for 11 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Tiki Barnhart of Sikeston, MO and Jana (Rick) Murdock of Bridgeton, MO; one sister Peggy Chappel of Sikeston, MO and five grandchildren, Dylan Baragar Murdock, Mikayla Buttry, Riley Smith, Addison Smith and Avalyn Smith and two great grandchildren, John Robert Baragar and Christopher Tucker Westcoat.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Murdock.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Glen Cantrell, pastor of First Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Jackie VanVickle, Jamie Watkins, Rick Smith, Ryan Harper, Robbie Hopper and Dylan Baragar Murdock.
