Robert Glenn Smith, 37, of Matthews, died January 6, 2015 at his home in Matthews. Born June 28, 1978, in Sikeston, to Robert and Ruby Lofton Moore, who survive of Bernie, he was a deckhand for New Madrid Harbor Service, and had served in the United States Marines. On July 9, 2004, in Van Buren, he married Ashley Gordon, who survives of Matthews.
Additional survivors include: one son, Nathan Murphy of Lilbourn; four daughters, Savannah Woollums, Skylaar Smith and Stephanie Smith, all of Matthews, and Sierra Woollums of Sikeston; one brother, Johnny Smith of Bernie and one sister, Robin Jackson of St. Louis.
Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements, and no public services are scheduled.
