Ronnie Hewitt

He was born September 15, 1941 in Canalou, MO. to the late Nathaniel and Grace Pointer Hewitt.

On July 31, 1965 in the community of J.Y. near Portageville, MO. he married Brenda Lewis Hewitt who survives of the home in Canalou, MO.

He retired from Noranda Aluminum Co. after more than thirty-five years of service.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son Ronnie (Ginger) Hewitt of Advance, MO.; One daughter Misty (Blake) Sindle of Canalou, MO.; one sister Pat (Vernon) Siebert of Sikeston, MO.; five grandchildren, Ashton (Austin) Rettig, Blake (Jessica) Lingle, Hunter (Brent) Hewitt, Abby Sindle and Ryder Sindle; two great-grandchildren, Brendyn Forck and Teagan Anderson; Teagan has a baby sister, Emmalyn, on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chelsey Hewitt; one brother, James Hewitt and one sister, Frieda Hillis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. Bro. Mike Cartwright pastor at Canalou Assembly of God Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Ryder Sindle, Brent Forck, Blake Lingle, Austin Rettig, Steve Joyce and Mark Eaves.
