

Ronnie Lee McIntyre Sr., age 72, of Morehouse, died February 6, 2013 at his home. Born September 9, 1940, in Sikeston, to the late Monroe and Mary Smith McIntyre, he was the founder and owner of McIntyre Construction until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morehouse and the American Legion Post 114 of Sikeston. On May 4, 1961, in Sikeston, he married the lovely Barbara Kay Pfifer, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: his two beautiful daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Rick Adams of San Antonio, Texas, Connie and Daniel Lickteig of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Duke and Carolyn McIntyre of Alaska, Arles and Shirley McIntyre of Sikeston, and Bud McIntyre of the state of Louisiana.; and five sisters and one brother-in-law, Viola Alford, May and James Wilson and Ruth Smith, all of Sikeston, Bell Harris of Evansville, Indiana, and Dottie Sinyard of Morehouse. Also surviving are four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and one son, Ronnie Lee McIntyre Jr.
Visitation will be from 5-8pm Friday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 10am Saturday, February 9, with Rev. Randy Thomas, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Morehouse, officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Essex Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Rodgers, Calvin Young, Kevin Sutton, Tony Kiser, Chris Kiser and Jackie Hayes Sr.
